I can't help but think about those poor men who discovered Meghan's body back in 2008. Being out in the Jennings State Forest, just anticipating a regular day of scouting for hunting spots, then suddenly being pulled into the tragic end of a young life. I can’t imagine the emotional toll it must have taken on them to find Meghan in such conditions. It just goes to show how deeply this crime impacted not just her family and friends, but strangers who were unfortunately placed in the path of this tragedy. I truly hope that one day Meghan's family gets the answers they so desperately need, and that the incredible work by cold case organizations can finally bring about some peace for everyone touched by this horrific event.
