Hey all, new here but have been following the case of Dilcia Vargas-Garcia for a while now. Just wanted to share a thought that's been on my mind. I read somewhere that Dilcia was really involved in her local community and would even volunteer at events with her kids. It's puzzling because you'd think someone who was so active and visible wouldn't just vanish without someone noticing something unusual. Community events often have a lot of eyes and ears and knowing that she brought her kids along makes it even more baffling that no one has come forward with any solid clues. If anyone around Modesto recalls seeing them at any local events around the time they disappeared, even the smallest detail could help. Hoping for some kind of breakthrough soon. Stay vigilant, everyone.
I was thinking about Dilcia’s case and something that I find really puzzling is the lack of any digital footprints. In this day and age, it’s rare for someone not to leave some kind of trace, especially a young mother like Dilcia who was probably using social media, messaging apps, etc. You'd expect there to be some digital communication indicating where she might have been planning to go or if she was meeting someone. Has anyone heard if the police found anything on her phone or social media accounts that could offer clues? It's frustrating when there's no info of that nature out there being discussed. Also, if anyone in the Modesto area has seen anything—no matter how trivial it seems—please share it with the authorities. Every little detail could help!
