I’ve been following the tragic events surrounding the devastating murder-suicide in Las Vegas that claimed the lives of Ki'Ziah Cone, her mother, Schinara, and her younger sister, Zi'Myra. My heart goes out to their loved ones. In reading about Ki'Ziah, I learned she was a talented young artist with a bright future ahead of her. It’s so moving to see the community coming together to remember her through her art. I read that some local artists are organizing a small exhibit to honor her talents and celebrate her life. It's just incredible to see such support and light in the midst of such a horrible tragedy. Art has always fostered healing, and I hope this brings some measure of comfort to those who knew her. Does anyone know if there's a way to contribute or participate in this exhibit?

I'm struggling to wrap my head around the news about Ki'Ziah Cone and her family. Such a senseless act, and my heart aches for their loved ones. I recently stumbled across Ki'Ziah's GoFundMe page while trying to learn more about this tragedy, and it was touching to read about her love for drawing and how vibrant she was. I can only imagine how devastated her family must be, losing not just one, but three beautiful souls in one horrific moment. It's so important for communities to come together during times like this to support the families left behind. It gives a little hope to see people reaching out, whether it's through donations or just kind words. I hope this brings more awareness to the serious issue of domestic violence and leads to stronger protection for those most at risk.
