I was recently reading about Gustavo Castaneda's case, and it's so unsettling to realize how many families are still waiting for answers after all these years. I came across some info on the Miami-Dade Cold Case Squad and how they utilize advanced tech like DNA testing to revisit old evidence. It made me wonder if there might be any possibility of re-evaluating the DNA collected at the scene, assuming there was any. Given the advancements in forensic technology since 2009, maybe it's worth revisiting any collected samples or evidence one more time. It takes just one piece of new evidence or a different way to look at an old clue to crack a case wide open. My heart goes out to Gustavo's family; they deserve closure and justice for him.
