Has anyone else been thinking about the role bystander intervention could've played in this tragic incident at Conga Latin Bistro? It's infuriating and so sad to think how quickly things spiraled out of control when people were just out trying to have a good time. I'm wondering if there was anyone there who might have been able to de-escalate before it got to this point. It's clear the security tried to step in, but was there more that could’ve been done by other patrons? Knowing that "Nacho" was a beloved father and friend makes this even more painful. His kids, family, and friends are left to pick up the pieces of something that might have been preventable. Maybe we can all learn from this to be more proactive when we see tensions rising in public spaces. It's not easy, but staying aware and stepping in when it's safe could make all the difference. Sending my thoughts to Nacho's family and hoping the community can come together to heal from this.
