I’ve been following the case of Hector Belgrade-Armentero, and what I can’t stop thinking about is the impact his loss has had on the community. Hector was so young, just 25, with a whole future ahead of him. It’s truly unsettling how someone could just walk up and take a life in broad daylight. I can only imagine the pain his family and friends are going through, not knowing who did this or why. For those of you in the Miami area, I urge you to think back to that day in July 2009. Maybe you noticed something unusual or someone who seemed out of place around NW 28th Street. Even the smallest piece of information could help the detectives make a breakthrough. Sending strength to Hector’s loved ones as they continue to seek the justice he deserves.
