Has anyone else been thinking about the tragedy of Peggy Sue Altum's murder in Newton? I've been reading everything I can find about it, and I can't stop thinking about her family. Losing someone you love in such a violent way must be unimaginably difficult, especially so close to the holidays.
One thing that really hits me is Peggy's love for gardening and being outdoors. It's heartbreaking to think she won't get to enjoy those sunny days in her garden or go out dancing anymore. It sounds like she was a vibrant person who truly knew how to find joy in life and spread it to others.
I've also been thinking a lot about her grandkids and great-grandkids. Growing up without their grandmother around during their big life moments just seems incredibly hard. My heart goes out to them and to all of her family. I hope they find some comfort in the memories and love she clearly showered on everyone. If anyone hears any updates on the case, please share them. I'd like to keep up with what happens next.
I’ve been thinking a lot about Peggy Sue Altum’s love for outdoor activities—it's clear that she truly embraced life. It’s so upsetting to hear about what happened to her, especially considering how she loved things like gardening and water skiing. These were activities where you really feel connected to the beauty and vitality of the world around you. I imagine her gardens were lush and full of life, reflecting her spirit.
Given everything that's been said about how she cherished her family, it's heart-wrenching to think about how her children and grandchildren must be coping right now. They must miss her energy, and how she could light up a room. Has anyone here heard if there are any local efforts to honor her legacy? Maybe a community garden or something related to her passions? It feels like something lifegiving would be a fitting tribute. My deepest sympathies go out to Peggy’s family during this devastating time.
