Such a devastating loss for the Harvey community and beyond. I can't stop thinking about the living conditions that Timothy and his family endured. A home described as being in poor condition and squalid really paints a bleak picture of the pressures they must have been facing daily. It's sad to think that the family's cries for help might have gone unnoticed, perhaps overshadowed by their pride or the stigma of reaching out. I wonder if there were any signs that could've alerted neighbors or friends to their dire situation. With their house in such a state, it breaks my heart to consider if the kids had friends over or if they were isolated because of their circumstances. My deepest sympathies go out to any family, friends, or community members who were close to Timothy and Eric. They deserved so much more, and I hope we can learn from this tragedy to better support families in crisis before it's too late.
