Does anyone else feel like the increase in violence here isn’t being taken as seriously as it should by the authorities? Steve Graham Sr.'s murder is just one of too many in our community lately. I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through. We hear about these shootings so often now, but it doesn't seem like we're seeing the necessary changes in policing or community programs to address the root of the problem. It's not just about justice for Mr. Graham, but also about preventing the next tragedy. What do you all think about the city's response to these incidents? Are there any initiatives that actually seem to be making a difference?
Hey everyone, I've been following the threads on the tragic loss of Mr. Steve Graham, and something that really sticks with me is the community's response. It’s clear that Steve was deeply loved and respected by those around him, and the outpouring of support for his family is heartwarming. However, there’s also a sense of urgency for change in Shreveport. Does anyone else have thoughts on what kinds of community programs or initiatives could be implemented to help curb this disturbing trend of violence? I've seen other cities implement neighborhood watch programs and youth engagement initiatives, but I'm curious if anyone here thinks these might be effective for our area, or if there are other ideas worth exploring. Peace and safety for our community feel more crucial than ever. Sending positive thoughts to the Graham family and everyone affected.
