I just wanted to share some thoughts after reading about Jawaski "Rad" Thomas's case. It's so hard to comprehend how someone so beloved could be taken so suddenly. Reading about Rad's involvement in the Ville Platte community, it seems like he was truly a bright light to those around him. I can only imagine the pain his family must be enduring, especially his kids. Having lost someone so pivotal in their lives is unimaginable. I can't help but think about the events leading up to the incident. Was there any history between Rad and the suspect? Was it a spur-of-the-moment tragedy, or was there something deeper simmering beneath the surface? Understanding the motive might not bring Rad back, but maybe it could provide some semblance of closure to his grieving family. Hoping for justice to be served, and peace for his family and friends. If anyone comes across more details, especially about his community work or personal stories, please share. It would be nice to remember Rad not just for this tragedy but for the joy and love he spread throughout his life.
