Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Reynaud Shields Jr., and I just can't wrap my head around the fact that there's still no suspect in custody. It's been months, and the thought of his family waiting for answers is so gut-wrenching.
Something that really stands out to me is the time of day this happened – broad daylight, 1:30 PM. You'd think someone around that area witnessed something or saw a car speeding away. St. Claude Avenue is pretty busy, plus being so close to Church’s Kitchen, lunchtime crowds could have been around. It's scary to think that this crime could happen in such a public space and still leave police without leads.
Sending my thoughts to Reynaud’s family. I really hope someone out there knows something and finds the courage to step forward. Maybe sharing these details can jog someone's memory and make a difference. We need to keep talking about this until there's justice for Reynaud. Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Reynaud Shields Jr., and one aspect that's really been on my mind is how little traction this has gotten online beyond local news coverage. I can't help but wonder why some cases get national attention while others, like Reynaud's, seem to fade into the background. It's too easy for important stories to get buried without the wider community's attention and help.
Reynaud has been remembered beautifully by those who knew and loved him, but more eyes and ears on the case might really make a difference. Does anyone here think there's anything we can do in these situations to help raise awareness for cases that aren't getting enough spotlight? I'm hoping by discussing this, there might be some strategies others have used successfully in the past. It just feels important, you know? My heart goes out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
