Has anyone been following the tragic case of Cedrid Battiste from Baton Rouge? I've been thinking a lot about the impact on his family and how communities cope with these losses. I read somewhere recently that small gestures of support, like community vigils or memorials, can sometimes help bring people together and provide some comfort to a grieving family. Does anyone know if there's been any such initiative for Cedrid's family? It's hard to imagine the pain they must be going through, and it feels like any bit of compassion can make a difference in moments like these. If anyone has information or updates about support for his family, please share. The more we can come together, the better we can help those in need during these difficult times.

I’ve been following the case of Cedrid Battiste and just can’t stop thinking about the community impact. Baton Rouge already struggles with gun violence, and another life lost only amplifies that pain. I didn’t know Cedrid or his family, but I’ve seen so many friends affected by similar tragedies, and it seems so overwhelming. His family must be dealing with an unimaginable amount of grief right now. I’m really hoping this tragic event leads to some sort of positive change, whether it’s community organizing or policy discussions. Does anyone know if there are any vigils or community events planned in his memory? It feels like we all need a way to come together, reflect, and figure out how to move forward.
