I’ve been following the Petty brothers' case closely, and one aspect that keeps nagging me is the role of the friend who traveled back to Michigan without them. Has anyone else found it odd that he seemingly went all that way back alone yet didn't raise any alarms about Joshua and Jacob not coming with him? Seems strange, right? I know people might not want to speculate without facts, but has there been any more clarity on why the friend didn't report them missing when he got home? It just seems like such a huge piece of the puzzle that's still missing. Also, has anyone dug into whether there’s a history of issues between these boys and their family or friends back in Michigan that might hint at why they left in the first place?
The lack of media attention in the disappearance of Joshua and Jacob Petty is really puzzling. I can't help but wonder why there hasn't been more effort to get their story out there. We're talking about two young kids who vanished after a very strange set of circumstances. Why wasn't there more follow-up on the last known stop they made? It seems odd that a deputy had contact with them, and then they just disappeared. Has anyone seen a detailed report from the authorities or any kind of press release about this traffic stop? Maybe there's something in there that might shed some light on what happened. It's frustrating how little information is available. Hoping for some developments soon.
