I was scrolling through some old threads and came across the post about Eric L. “Noona” Williams, Jr. It's so upsetting to think about how gun violence has claimed yet another life in New Orleans. I've been reading more about Eric's life, and it sounds like he was really loved by so many people. I didn't know him personally, but I have friends who are active in the Franklin Avenue Baptist Church community, and they've spoken so highly of his character and kindness. It's difficult to imagine the grief his family is going through, especially his young son, Kihlo. As someone who grew up in NOLA, stories like this really hit close to home. It's a strong reminder of how crucial it is for communities to come together and support one another. My thoughts are with Eric's family and friends; I hope they find some peace and comfort in the memories they've shared with him.
