I’ve been following Helen Kontio’s case since she disappeared, and something that's been on my mind is how someone could go missing from a place that's supposed to provide supervision—like an assisted living facility. Can anyone who might be familiar with such places shed some light on the protocols? Do they have security footage or regular checks for residents like Helen? It seems strange that someone with cognitive issues could just walk away without anyone noticing for a while. Also, Palmer isn't the biggest town, so it’s concerning that there haven't been any confirmed sightings or substantial leads after all this time. I really hope this gets resolved soon. If anyone has insights or knows how the search team approaches such cases, please share.
