Wow, the case of Derrick Thomas has really been weighing on my mind. I just can’t stop thinking about how he was found on Woodpecker Street. It's such a chilling thought that he was just sitting in his car, presumably in his own world, when everything was taken from him. The fact that there were two other shootings so close in time and distance makes it all the more unsettling. It’s like what’s happening in Baton Rouge that day? I can't imagine the pain his family must be going through not having any answers yet. Sending all my prayers to them and hoping that the police can uncover some leads soon.
