I've been thinking a lot about Terrell Lamont Dorsey's case and the fact that he got his certification in construction. It's just so sad to think about all the potential and hard work that was unfairly taken away from him due to this senseless act of violence. How often do we hear about someone working to better themselves and their community, and something like this happens? It's really disheartening. My heart aches for his children, Terrell Ard and Tyrell—their father was someone who clearly tried to set a good example for them. I hope the authorities are doing all they can to find some justice for him and his family. He deserved so much better.
