It's been over a decade since little Hubert Caniza's life was cruelly taken, and yet, here we are, still seeking justice. My heart goes out to his family, who must live with not only the loss but the absence of answers. A detail that really sticks with me is the possibility that the suspect fled to Brazil. It makes me wonder about the reach of justice across borders and how difficult it must be to catch someone once they've left the country. Given that Miami is such a diverse city with so many international ties, does anyone know if there have been any updates on international cooperation for this case? It's terrifying to think someone could commit such a horrific act and vanish like that. Hoping someone out there knows something and comes forward. Hubert deserves that.
