Hey everyone,
I can't stop thinking about the role social media might play in crimes like the tragic case of Trevon Cummins. It seems like platforms are often double-edged swords in these situations. While they're great for raising awareness and spreading information quickly, sometimes they can also contribute to panic or even escalate tensions.
I've been following this case closely, and I can't help but wonder if there's a way for communities to harness social media more effectively to actually help cases like this. Maybe there's a way to create networks or groups dedicated to fostering online communication between neighbors and local law enforcement to aid in crime prevention and provide more effective tips when something terrible like this happens.
Just throwing my thoughts out there and hoping Trevon's family and friends find strength and support from all of us during this incredibly devastating time. Sending all my thoughts to them. Stay safe, everyone.
