Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Janet Ramos-Hernandez’s tragic death, and something that really stands out to me is the timing of Raul S. Martinez's surrender. It seems so strange that he turned himself in exactly one month after Janet was found. I'm really curious about what might have motivated him to do this. Was there some new evidence that pushed him to surrender, or was it perhaps pressure from the investigation or even from within his own circle? Also, I'm deeply saddened thinking about Janet’s family having to deal with all this uncertainty in the weeks following her death. It must have been a terrible time for them not knowing who was responsible, and even now, knowing that justice is still a process they have to endure. My heart really goes out to them during what must be such a difficult time. Would love to hear others' thoughts on why they think Martinez decided to give himself up when he did. ?

Has anyone else been looking into Janet Ramos-Hernandez's background or life in Gresham? I can't shake the feeling that understanding more about her life might help piece together what led to such a tragic event. Reading about her makes me think she was someone who had a future full of potential and dreams cut far too short. I know the focus is often on the suspect, but it’s important to remember Janet and who she was outside of this senseless act of violence. My heart goes out to her family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. If anyone has more insight or remembers something about her, it could help us all better understand what happened.

Hey all, Reading about Janet Ramos-Hernandez’s case just leaves me with so many questions, and a lot of heartache for her family. One detail that's really sticking with me is why was she at the Shilo Inn in Salem that morning? Was she there for some kind of event, visiting someone, or was it just an overnight stay from her travels? The fact that she was found so early in the morning makes me wonder about what happened in the hours leading up to that call. I've tried looking through local news, but there isn’t much info on her life or what might have brought her to that location. It just feels like there’s a huge missing puzzle piece. Maybe somebody local might have some insights? Sending love and strength to her loved ones. They deserve answers and closure.
