I can't even begin to imagine what Mr. Ayala's family must be going through right now. It's terrible to hear about another case of gun violence taking someone’s life like this. What's truly puzzling me is the location— the 200 block of Union Street. It's usually a quiet area, right? I wonder if Mr. Ayala knew his attacker or if this was entirely random. The police mentioned no suspect info yet, but I'm hoping witnesses or security cameras might provide some leads. Such a shame to see another face added to the National Gun Violence Memorial. I hope we see justice soon and that his family finds some peace during this difficult time.
