Hi everyone, I just can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy is having on the Worcester State University community. Even though none of the individuals involved are students there, the ripple effects are undoubtedly being felt by everyone on campus. It's so unsettling to think about how Randy was just starting a new chapter in his life, having just turned 19, and now students at Worcester are having to reckon with this violence in what was supposed to be a safe educational environment. I really feel for the students who were sheltering in place, probably terrified, not knowing what was happening or if they were safe. It's such a sad situation all around. It's good to hear that the university is taking precautions, but it's distressing to see this level of disruption and fear. Does anyone know if there are plans for increased security or support services for students who might be dealing with anxiety after this incident? Sending all my love to Randy's family and friends, and hoping for peace on campus soon. Stay safe everyone.
