I can’t stop thinking about how close Kyle was to his mom. Losing a child is beyond imaginable, and it’s clear they had a special bond. Celebrating his birthday just days before makes this even more tragic. Kyle was just at a friend’s place, probably having a normal night, and to think about what happened after that is terrifying. I hope his family feels the love and support from the community and that people don’t forget the bright future he had ahead of him. It’s important we support initiatives like the GoFundMe to help his family as they face such a tough time. No parent should ever have to face this. I really pray the authorities can find those responsible quickly.
