Does anyone else find the incident at the Exclusive Barbershop and Salon incredibly unsettling? It's not just about one tragic event but a disturbing pattern of violence against barbershops in Boston. It's as if these supposedly safe places for local community members are becoming targets. Elijah Ricardo Clunie didn't deserve this fate. It's haunting to think about how he was just getting a haircut, probably thinking about everyday things, when his life was taken so suddenly. I feel for his family who have to endure such a senseless loss, and I can't imagine the fear and tension this is causing for the barbershop community. The fact that this wasn't a random act makes it even scarier. It seems like barbershops need more protection and vigilance to prevent these incidents. I'm curious if other cities are experiencing similar patterns, or is this mainly happening in Boston? Is anyone else looking over their shoulder a little more when they’re at the barber these days? I hope justice is served, not just for Clunie’s family but also to reassure others in the community.
