Has anyone else been following the Julio Cesar Martinez-Mejia case? I was digging around online and found that he's listed in NamUs, which means he's been missing for over a year now. I noticed that his case doesn’t have much media coverage. It’s shocking how some cases barely get any public attention compared to others.
Does anyone know if there have been any community searches or vigils? Sometimes these community efforts bring out details that lead to a breakthrough. I wonder if there’s a language barrier issue in getting more information out there since Falfurrias is a small town with a diverse population. Maybe there’s a way to increase awareness locally and beyond. If you’re from the area and know of anything being done to spread the word, please share.
I’ve been following Julio Cesar Martinez-Mejia’s case and something has been puzzling me. Does anyone know if they checked nearby border crossings? Falfurrias is pretty close to the border, and sometimes people can disappear in these areas due to border-related incidents. It seems like a potential angle worth looking into, especially because there’s so little information available about his movements that day. Maybe local checkpoints or surveillance footage from that time could offer some clues? Just trying to think of every possible lead to help bring answers to his family and friends.
