I’ve been following the case of Jarel Miles, and my heart really goes out to everyone involved, especially his family. I can't imagine the pain they must be feeling right now. I wanted to touch on something not often talked about in these discussions: the role of community support in preventing such tragedies. I live near the area, and there are programs and resources available for gun safety education, but it seems like they aren't reaching everyone they need to. I wonder if more could be done to promote awareness and offer practical help to parents and guardians around here. Education is crucial, but so is building a supportive community where folks feel comfortable seeking guidance without fear of judgment or repercussions. I've seen neighbors stepping up after the incident, offering emotional support, and helping Tiara with anything she needed once she returned home. These actions, even though small, can mean the world to a grieving mother and serve as a vital reminder of the power of kindness and empathy in the face of unimaginable loss. But we also need action and systemic changes to prevent this from happening again. Thoughts?
