Has anyone else been pondering Joey Lane's connection to Clifty Falls State Park? It's haunting to think how his love for the outdoors might relate to the location where he was found. Joey had such a passion for nature—horseback riding and all. I can't help but think there's something significant about the setting of this tragedy. How do others see this angle? Sending all my love to Tiffany, the kids, and the rest of Joey's family. It's awful imagining the incredible void they're feeling right now.

I’ve been thinking about how quickly life can change. It's hard to wrap my head around what happened to Joseph "Joey" Renee Lane. It's always unsettling when something like this happens in what should be a peaceful place like Clifty Falls State Park. You'd think a park would be a place for relaxation, not tragedy. It’s tough knowing that someone with such a love for the outdoors had his life end so suddenly. I can't even imagine what his family is going through right now. From what I've read, he seemed like someone who had deep ties to his community and family. Hearing about his dream to be a cowboy gives a bit of insight into his character—sounds like he was a free spirit in many ways. I wonder what led to that situation between him and John Dean McElwaney. It's so distressing because the consequences are so heavy for everyone involved, especially for Joey's wife and kids. I genuinely hope the investigation provides some answers and that his family gets the support they need during this unimaginably difficult time.
