Does anyone know more about the background between Miguel D. Villegas De-Santiago and the suspects, Albert Campos and Matias L. Herrera? It's so concerning to think about what might have led to such a tragic outcome, especially during what should have been a happy New Year's Day gathering. This all feels so out of place for Collinsville, a community that's usually pretty quiet and safe. Miguel was so young with his whole life ahead of him, having just graduated high school. I can only imagine the pain for his family and friends. It's awful to think that this happened right in the neighborhood with people nearby, thinking it was part of the holiday noise.
