I've been following the Deaundre Brooks case on here, and something that's been really stuck in my mind is the role of the woman who was driving the car. It must have been absolutely terrifying for her. Imagine being in the driver’s seat, hearing an argument escalate like that, and then suddenly you realize one of the people in your car has a gun. It's a miracle she managed to stay composed enough to get Brooks to the hospital initially. I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma she’s dealing with after witnessing such an act. Does anyone know if she’s received any support or counseling? It seems like she would really need it after experiencing such a horrific event firsthand. Sending her and Deaundre’s loved ones much strength during this difficult time.
