I’ve been thinking a lot about the community impact of Roy Lee Payne Sr.’s death. Having worked at Rivian, he must’ve been a well-known face around Peoria, especially given how many are employed there. When someone from a close-knit community is taken too soon, it leaves a void that many feel, not just the immediate family. I’m hoping that the community can come together to support his children and family through this incredibly tough time. Does anyone have information on any local memorials or community gatherings happening in his honor? It's important they know we all stand with them in this moment of loss.
