Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Terry'a Adams, and something that's been really bugging me is how the police response was handled. From what I’ve read, it seems multiple calls were made to 911 about the large crowd getting out of hand before the shooting occurred. It's devastating to think that those calls might not have been taken seriously enough. Terry'a's life ended too soon, and it’s heartbreaking for her loved ones to know this could potentially have been avoided with faster action.
What's more, it’s really concerning how overwhelmed the system seems with violent incidents like this. I can’t help but wonder what needs to change for such calls to be given the urgent attention they deserve. The community is suffering, and it seems like there are gaps in support when they're most needed.
I truly feel for her family and friends in this difficult time. It must be incredibly frustrating to deal with the loss of Terry'a while grappling with the feeling that so much more could have been done to keep her and others safe.?
Would love to hear if anyone knows more about what the local responses have been or if there have been talks of changing protocols after this horrible event.
Stay safe, everyone.
Has anyone else been completely astonished by the lack of response from the police in Terry'a Adams' case? I just can’t wrap my head around how multiple 911 calls about a massive, loud gathering went virtually unanswered. If the crowd had been dispersed, would we be looking at a different outcome today? It's incredibly troubling to think that a young life filled with promise and goals, someone who was clearly adored by her community, was cut short in such a senseless way. My heart goes out to her family and friends—nobody should ever have to go through this kind of loss. How do we hold those accountable for not taking preventive measures, especially when they could've saved lives?
