Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the tragic incident in Waukegan and it’s just unimaginable what the families of Serenity and Briana must be going through. What really caught my attention was the relationship aspect mentioned in the investigation. It’s always bewildering how a relationship, which should be a source of love and support, can sometimes turn so dark. I can't help but wonder what warning signs might have been overlooked, or if friends or family knew something was up but felt powerless or unsafe to intervene. It's heartbreaking but also a stark reminder of how important it is to pay attention to behaviors and not dismiss red flags in any relationship. My heart truly goes out to everyone affected by this senseless act. If anyone has resources on recognizing and dealing with domestic violence, it might be helpful to share here for others who might need it. We really need to look out for one another. Stay safe, everyone.
