Just came across this case, and my heart goes out to Ra-Shaun's family. I can't imagine the pain Rev. Robin Hood and his loved ones are experiencing. It really caught my attention how they mentioned Ra-Shaun loved basketball and making people laugh – such a vibrant soul taken too soon. I'm really curious about the neighborhood environment around 81st and Racine. Does anyone know if there have been recent incidents in that area or any community initiatives aimed at reducing violence there? I feel like understanding the context might help shed some light on why these tragedies keep happening. The fact that Rev. Hood has spent so much time fighting against violence and still faces this loss is a stark reminder that no family is immune. It feels important for everyone to rally and share any info, even if it seems small, to help the detectives solve this and bring some peace to the Hood family.
