I was reading through some of the news updates on Jeremy Jacobs' case, and one thing that caught my attention was the location of the incident. The 2900 block of South State Street has had its share of troubles in the past, but it really makes me wonder about the safety measures in these apartment complexes. It’s tragic that a young man like Jeremy lost his life in a place where he should have felt secure. Does anyone know if there are any surveillance cameras in that area or if any footage has been found? I keep thinking that someone had to have seen or heard something with so many apartments nearby.
