I'm still in disbelief about what happened to James Irby. It's just so unnerving that a young life can be taken away like this, leaving a community and a family to pick up the pieces. Having spent some time in Peoria myself, it's scary to think about gun violence hitting so close to home. I've noticed that there's been little information released about the investigation, and that's frustrating. I hope that the authorities are making progress behind the scenes and that his family and friends will eventually get the answers they deserve. It's comforting to see how the community is coming together to support his loved ones through the online memorial pages. The stories and memories shared there really highlight how loved James was. If anyone has any updates about the case or any ways we can help support the Irby family, please let us know. This kind of senseless violence shouldn't be a common reality for any community.
