I was reading about Mylez Tucker’s murder, and it’s just so frustrating and sad. The randomness of it all is terrifying. Imagine just sitting in a car with friends, and then something so senseless happens. It makes you wonder about the others who were in the car – did they have any idea this would happen? I can't even begin to fathom how Mylez's family is feeling right now. Losing someone so young and unexpectedly must be incredibly painful. I truly hope that the detectives from Area Four are making progress and that there will be justice for Mylez and his family soon. Chicago’s gun violence is out of control, and it feels like another young life is lost every day. We need more community programs and interventions to prevent these heart-wrenching incidents. It's important for everyone in the community to come together to tackle this issue. If anyone has any information, please come forward. Let’s work together to make sure no other family has to experience this kind of tragedy.
