Hey everyone, something about Pedro's case that's been on my mind is the deep impact of gun violence on immigrant communities, like the one in Little Village. It's incredibly distressing to see hardworking individuals like Pedro, who are just trying to make a better life for themselves, fall victim to such senseless acts. I read that he was just in his car, getting ready to start his day, which makes it even more tragic to think about how sudden and random this violence can be. The response from the community has been strong, and the calls for justice are so important. I really hope that more people come forward if they have any information. These incidents should never be normalized, and it’s crucial we keep talking about Pedro and others affected by this cycle of violence in order to see real change. Sending strength to Pedro’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
