I've been thinking about the relationship between Steven Herring and Chad Hillyer. It's always shocking when violence erupts between people who were considered close. Many of us know how friendships can become complicated, but it’s hard to fathom what possibly went wrong in their relationship that could lead to such a tragic outcome. They shared a deep connection, or so it seemed, and I can’t imagine the sense of betrayal and confusion the Herring family must be feeling. I hope they find some solace in the happy memories they shared with Steven. It's a somber reminder of the importance of checking in on those we care about, even when everything seems fine on the surface. Love to Steven's family and friends during this unimaginable time.
It's truly difficult to fathom the grief that Steven Herring's family and friends must be experiencing right now. This case has so many layers, but what strikes me the most is how entwined Steven and Chad Hillyer's lives were, both professionally and personally. Steven's longstanding career at D.S. Excavating shows he had deep-rooted ties in the community, working alongside people he considered his second family. It’s heartbreaking to think that a close friend could be involved in something so tragic.
Steven seemed to have a fulfilling life with his passions for NASCAR and fishing, and it's clear he brought joy to those around him. His love for these hobbies speaks to a character that cherished both moments of excitement and those of tranquility. My thoughts go out to his family, who must be feeling an unimaginable loss, as well as to the community that knew and cared for him. If anyone is attending the gathering on February 25th, perhaps sharing memories of Steven can bring a little comfort during this incredibly hard time. ?
