Has anyone else been following the case of Jing Lei in Chicago? It’s been weighing on my mind. I feel so deeply for his family, especially his son who must be dealing with so much right now. I can’t imagine the loss they’re going through. The fact that Lei was just trying to pick up the slack at his job and ended up losing his life is just beyond sad.
I’ve been reading that there have been a series of attacks on food delivery drivers recently. It worries me about the safety of these workers who are just trying to make a living. I really hope the authorities can piece together what happened and bring some justice to this family. It's so important that we create a safer environment for everyone. Does anyone know if the community meeting took place or if they’re planning to set up more security measures for delivery drivers?
