Reading about Trashawn Morris and his tragic death has been deeply unsettling. I just can't get over how these senseless acts leave such a devastating impact on families and friends. The fact that this happened in a complex where families should feel safe is alarming. I hope the authorities take more steps to ensure safety in the Lexington Hills Apartments and prevent further incidents. My heart goes out to Trashawn's family during this incredibly difficult time. Has anyone else been following the discussions on community safety measures in Peoria since this incident? I'd be interested to know if any new initiatives have been introduced.
