I’ve been following the case of Roderick Brown, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact this will have on his family and community, especially given his role as a local business owner. Dollies Playhouse wasn’t just a business for him; it was the culmination of a personal dream. It's saddening to think that something he cherished so much became the location where his life was tragically cut short. I can only imagine the immense pain his wife, Teneisha, and their family are going through right now. The lack of information about suspects must be agonizing for them. I hope the police can make progress soon because this family—and community—deserves answers and justice. If anyone is local to Washington Park, are there any groups or memorials being put together for Mr. Brown? It might be a good way for the community to come together and support one another.
