Hey everyone, I want to talk about the sheer resilience and solidarity shown by the community at Antonio Holmes’ vigil. When I heard about the vigil taking place right on the block where he was shot, it really struck me how people are coming together. It’s such a tough situation for everyone who knew him, but to see neighbors, friends, and even strangers gathering to honor his memory speaks volumes. It was a powerful moment, full of raw emotion, candles, and shared stories about Antonio. There were some beautiful words said about how he was always trying to make others laugh—even during the most difficult times. It's just so devastating that his life was cut short, and we’re left to grapple with yet another senseless act of violence. I truly hope the community keeps this spirit of unity alive as they continue to seek justice for Antonio. If anyone has any more details or thoughts on how those of us not in Chicago can support this cause, please share. Stay safe, everyone. ❤️
