I've been following the Brighton Park shooting, and something that really caught my attention was the timing of the incident. It happened around 10:40 a.m., which seems quite brazen for a shooting to occur in broad daylight. It's terrifying to think that such violence can erupt during a time when the streets are usually bustling with people going about their daily lives. It's even more shocking considering that Santino was just a young teenager with his entire future ahead of him. Thinking about his family and friends dealing with such a loss is truly devastating. The police seem to be on it, but there are still no arrests, which must be incredibly frustrating for everyone waiting for justice. I just hope that the increased visibility and calls for action help to make communities like Brighton Park safer in the future. It's heartbreaking to see a young life lost and a close-knit family torn apart. My thoughts are with Santino's family, and I hope they find some peace amidst this tragedy.

Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the flowers and candles that have been piling up at the corner of 46th Street since the shooting. It's disheartening to see how quickly a neighborhood can transform from a place of laughter and community to one of mourning and grief. I can't even imagine the pain Tino's friends and family are experiencing right now. From what I've read, he was such a charismatic kid, always the peacemaker among his friends. It feels like a weight has settled over Brighton Park, but the community is coming together in support, which is inspiring in its own way. I'm hoping that all this love and solidarity will push the city towards addressing these safety issues more aggressively. Rest in peace, Tino and Roy. You deserved so much better.

It’s incredibly distressing to hear about the senseless tragedy that took away Santino "Tino" Rojas and his father, Roy. I can’t even begin to imagine what their family is going through right now. One thing that's been on my mind is the SUV. Does anyone know if there were any CCTV cameras in that area that could have caught the vehicle on tape? In so many cases, surveillance footage plays a crucial role in identifying perpetrators and bringing them to justice. I really hope the authorities can gather something from any footage that might exist. Also, why did it happen so suddenly around that time of the morning? My thoughts are with Santino's family, friends, and the community as they mourn such incredible losses. No one should ever have to experience this kind of pain. If anyone has updates or knows how we can support the family further, please share.
