Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Vernard Glover, who was sadly killed in that awful wave of shootings in Chicago last July. One thing that really sticks with me is the lack of updates on the investigation. For families trying to find closure, this wait must feel unbearable. It’s so frustrating to see how many cases just linger without resolution.
I came across Vernard’s profile on the National Gun Violence Memorial site. It’s profoundly touching to see the love from those who knew him. I’m hopeful that this case will get the attention it needs, and that justice will be served for Vernard and the others affected by this weekend of violence.
Does anyone have more insights on how these cases are prioritized or any thoughts about similar unresolved cases? Hoping for some justice, even if it takes time.
Stay safe out there.
Hey everyone, I've been following the updates on Vernard Glover's case and it's really sad how these things can sometimes go so quickly from the headlines to being forgotten. I was thinking about how there hasn't been any significant news since July, and it must be incredibly difficult for his loved ones to deal with the lack of closure. I've noticed that the National Gun Violence Memorial page for Vernard shows a lot of support from friends and family, which is heartwarming in such a grim situation. It’s so crucial that we keep discussing these cases to not only honor the victims but also push for justice and solutions to reduce gun violence. Does anyone know if there’s been any community activism or vigils held for Vernard? It just feels like more awareness could really help.
