I’ve been reading about Tatanisha Jackson’s case, and I just can't stop thinking about her youngest son. Imagine losing your mother in such a violent manner right in front of you. He’s only seven, and having such a traumatic experience could deeply affect him for the rest of his life. I hope he has access to the support and counseling he will undoubtedly need to process the loss and trauma. My heart goes out to him and the rest of Tatanisha’s family as they navigate this devastating time. It's hard to comprehend how families try to heal from such events, and I wish them strength and peace in the days ahead. If anyone has resources or suggestions on how this little boy can be supported, I hope the family has a network that can help guide them.
I've been following this case and it truly leaves a heavy feeling in the pit of my stomach. I keep thinking about Tatanisha Jackson's 7-year-old son, who witnessed such a horrific incident.
