Hello everyone, I’ve been following the tragic story of Keisha Lynn Seeley, and I wanted to bring up something that caught my attention regarding the police response—or lack thereof. It's incredibly frustrating to hear that despite the documented domestic issues between Keisha and Davontye, there wasn't enough intervention from local authorities. It seems like Keisha’s sisters, Tina and Tasha, tried to seek help for her, but their pleas were not addressed adequately. This makes me wonder how many more signs might have been overlooked or dismissed by the authorities. In cases like these, where there is a clear pattern of domestic unrest, shouldn’t there be a more robust protocol to prevent such a devastating outcome? It seems that more proactive measures could potentially save lives, by providing stronger protection and support for those in perilous domestic situations. My heart truly goes out to Keisha’s daughters, Bethany and Kamiah, who have to navigate life without their mother and the trauma of this event. We as a community need to push for changes that ensure such cries for help don’t fall on deaf ears again. Love to all those affected, [Username]

Has anyone else been following the Seeley-Browder case in Mattoon? I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact this whole tragedy must have had on their daughters, Bethany and Kamiah. It breaks my heart to imagine what they must have gone through discovering their parents like that. It's such a heavy burden for such young girls. They’re going to need so much support to start healing from this nightmare. I noticed there's a GoFundMe to help with their future, but I hope the community also rallies around them in other ways. Maybe local mental health resources or support groups could offer some stability? Sending love and strength to those girls, and hoping they find the guidance and care they need from their extended family and the Mattoon community. If anyone has ideas on how to further support them, maybe we can share here?
