I've been thinking a lot about the vigil for Aszavious "Zay" Anderson Jr., which was held at the New Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. From what I've read online, the turnout was incredible, really showing how deeply loved and respected Zay was in his community. His loved ones came together to remember him, sharing stories that painted a picture of a young man who brought so much happiness to those around him. It’s just so tragic to see someone with such a bright future taken away by violence. It’s frustrating and heartbreaking that there still seems to be no leads or arrests in his case. If anyone here is from the area, did you attend the service? What was the atmosphere like there? It breaks my heart that his family and friends have to go through this without any closure. My thoughts are with them, and I really hope that justice will be served for Zay soon. Does anyone have any advice on how the community might be able to help in cases like this?
