I’ve been following the William Wright case ever since I heard about it back in 2014. It’s been nine years now, and it’s frustrating to see how little progress seems to have been made. It’s such a tragedy for his family and friends. I keep thinking about how hard it must be for them, waking up every day without answers. Something I noticed is the lack of details made public. Does anyone else feel like the silence on this case just adds to the mystery? It makes me wonder if there’s more behind the scenes that we’re not aware of. If anyone here is familiar with Jacksonville's local police reporting, how typical is this lack of information? I’m hoping with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office's adaptive reporting system, any new leads will bring justice for William. Every cold case deserves closure, so for those who might know something—please speak up. It could be the tipping point that brings some peace to his loved ones.
