I’ve been following the case of Jaylin Kamari Evans and wanted to talk about how the community has come together in the aftermath. It’s been incredibly moving to see the support from people in Cairo, especially during the funeral service held at Cairo High School Gymnasium. It shows how much Jaylin was loved and how tightly knit the community is, even through such a tragic event. It makes me think about how important community is, not just for the victim's family but also for everyone who feels the loss. I must commend the folks who are offering their support and sharing memories of Jaylin. I think it’s really important for everyone to keep supporting each other as the investigation continues.
