I've been thinking a lot about the tragic murder of Deon Green, and one aspect that really stands out to me is his commitment to his work. It’s not just a job, it was clear from what his father said—this was truly his passion. Balancing roles both at a funeral home and with the medical examiner's office shows a tremendous dedication, not just to his career, but also to supporting his family and community. What deeply resonates with me is how often we overlook the efforts of those working behind the scenes in such essential roles. Deon seemed like a person who cared deeply about others, dedicating himself to providing care and respect during life’s most challenging moments. It's unsettling to think that someone so dedicated to helping others had his life brutally ended. I hope investigators can piece together what happened soon.
